This shot was taken to show one of the few moments of tranquility this cat allows. The cat is very fond of the model, and whenever the model picks the cat up, they almost mimic each other in how they position themselves. I was looking for a shared moment between them, and I found it when they both looked off into the distance together at something unforeseen to us mere humans.
This was shot without use of strobes and had minimal retouching.
