For this shot, I wanted to take advantage of the flowing, layered dress the model was wearing and propped her up on a ledge divider to shoot from below. Since the model had hurt her foot earlier in the week, I had her move slowly and move minimally to reduce the stress to her injury. I shot from below to give more view to the sky and to give the impression she was larger than life while showing the movement of her hair and the dress in the wind.
As for post production, the sky had to be darkened, and the models face had to be lightened, to bring out the detail desired. I isolated the background from the foreground, and darkened the sky, pulling out as much information possible. Then, I took the model and highlighted her face and shoulders to bring the focus more to that central location.
