For this shot, I wanted to give the model a simple, forward-facing headshot. I positioned the model in the shade next to a warm colored building to help bring out the warmth in her skin, and create some contrast to her skin tone and her dress. Retouching involved darkening the background slightly and lightening the model slightly to add contrast, as well as using the clone stamp and the healing brush to rid any stray hairs and complexion imperfections.
